Cooking Classes
Led by our Nutrition Coordinator, our cooking classes empower children, families and individuals to grow their cooking skills and learn how to make healthy choices through regular attendance and participation.
Kids in the Kitchen
Kids in the Kitchen is designed to learn basic nutrition and build g a positive relationship with food through fun and hands-on cooking.
Classes are offered in-person and virtually from October to May.
Food kits are available to families to pick up prior to virtual classes.

- For ages 7-14
- In-person classes held the first Thursday of the month, 5 – 6:30 p.m.
- Virtual classes held the fourth Thursday of the month, 5 – 6 p.m.
Slice of the Month
In this class, adults learn how to prepare easy, delicious recipes with the food available during Distribution and/or Farmstand each month. Participants walk away with valuable nutrition knowledge and simple recipes as well as lasting friendships.
Classes held monthly at Farmstand from October to May.

The SHARING Table
The SHARING Table cultivates a fun and welcoming environment for families, allowing them to create meaningful memories and relationships around a shared table. Families learn age-appropriate ways to include their children in cooking family meals and have the opportunity to share the meal at the end of class.
