DARRELL BEAM

Born and raised in Carlisle, he was always interested in playing guitar, writing, and recording music. With Shawn and Shea Quinn, he formed “The Pikers”. Played solo gigs and opened for Warren Zevon at the Forum. His adventurous spirit, and a one-way ticket to Fairbanks Alaska had him land a job acting and singing in a musical comedy. From there he moved to Greenwich Village, playing the folk clubs, working at a studio, Tower Records, and eventually opening a store in Philly. Darrell worked as an audio engineer and wrote and recorded music. Interviewed the WWII Navajo Code-Talkers and took the Native Trails Dance Troupe on a tour performing across Ireland.
