Carlisle Youth Initiative to Help Our Youth in Carlisle

All Community Members Welcome to the Farmstand this Wednesday at 7PM!

The Carlisle Youth Initiative (CYI) invites the public to GET INVOLVED and make a positive difference in the lives of our area youth by participating in a community meeting starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept 12th at the Project Share Farm Stand (123 Lincoln Street, Carlisle). The CYI Steering Committee will explain the CYI’s proposed purpose and action plan, while inviting participants to offer their ideas on how to improve the CYI concept. Additionally, the CYI invites all community groups, which offer programs that help develop local youth, to bring handouts/brochures for distribution to parents and children.

The CYI mission is to strengthen Carlisle’s future by uniting community partners to help ALL our local youth succeed with their education, development, and job search. The CYI also invites individuals and community groups to volunteer their assistance to help achieve this mission, including participation in one or more of the following CYI teams:

• Mentoring, Education & Training
• Communication and Information Sharing
• Application Assistance
• Youth Advisory Council
• Scholarships
