Thanks to our friends at CALC, a great time was had by all at 2017’s Empty Bowls for Hunger night at Dickinson College. Guests paid $20 for a humble meal of soup and bread as a reminder of those in our community who are food insecure. One of a kind handmade bowls were designed, glazed and fired at CALC’s studios by many members of the community including staff of CALC and Project SHARE. The event included entertainment and an opportunity to purchase extra bowls. Robert Weed, Interim CEO for Project SHARE, recounted a story about a client who has benefited from the assistance that Project SHARE gave her during a difficult time in her life. This was the 26th annual Empty Bowls sponsored by CALC.
