First Impressions Coordinator
Wendy oversees the very busy front office. She, along with awesome office volunteers, creates a warm and friendly atmosphere for all who need assistance, both walk-ins and phone inquiries. She schedules drivers for food pick up and vehicle maintenance. Wendy and her husband love their Pit Bull and Notre Dame Football. They have two grown children and now the dog is the family “baby”.
In August ‘13, Meagan joined Project SHARE as an intern through HACC’s Social Service Program and is now SHARE’s Volunteer Coordinator. Meagan’s knowledge and experience are a welcome addition to our staff. In her spare time, Meagan paints, kayaks and enjoys camping.
Deb coordinates all warehouse activities with other departments and volunteers. Deb loves being reminded of the simple things in life. She takes great pride and joy in her grandbaby.
Darrell loves music, songwriting, audio/video production, storytelling, and working with the volunteers at Project SHARE. He spent years in the music business in New York City, Philadelphia, and Alaska of all places. His favorite places in the world are Ireland and the Navajo Reservation. Darrell is in charge of maintenance, safety and inventory control, and brings a wealth of varied experience to the Project SHARE family. No matter what needs to get done, Darrell is always there to help and we love him for it!
Education and Communication Outreach Coordinator
Joe is an educator who sees the value in each person. He is a motivator with a passion to see people come alive. He lives with his wife, Wanda, on a small farmette outside of Carlisle. Other residents there include “dawgs” Sadie & Buster plus chickens, cats Mars, Daisy and Ponchetta and two donkeys named Eddie and Violet (Shrek connection). Originally from New Jersey Joe loves Carlisle and the area and wonders at each day.
Mission Impact Kitchen Coordinator
Weston Petroski received his B.S. in Nutrition from Appalachian State University, and an A.S. in Biology from Harrisburg Area Community College. He works with a variety of populations, from young children and at-risk youth to adults seeking to improve their health. With a strong background in food, nutrition, biology, and chemistry, Weston brings an easy-to understand, evidence-based approach to whole food medicine. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, spending time in the outdoors with his four-legged companion, and gardening.
Outreach Farm Coordinator
Steve is a lifelong resident of Carlisle and has been married to Crystal for 32 years. Steve and his family attend Carlisle Evangelical Free Church where he serves as a trustee and middle school Sunday school teacher. Steve’s work experience includes 18 years of owning his own business that served residents and farmers in the Cumberland County, 2 years of service to Messiah College and 15 years serving the Carlisle Family YMCA as the Youth Outreach and Camping Director.
Steve enjoys driving his two farm tractors, hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and especially time enjoying his two grandchildren. Steve has a passion to serve families in the Carlisle Community in an attempt to have a positive impact into their lives. Steve looks forward to serving everyone that participates at Project Share for many years to come.
