SHARing what we know is an essential part of our philosophy. We offer programs and hands on participatory events to do so. The focus of our attention is in our Kitchen, for it is here where we all learn to prepare the foods that we have available to the community. By SHARing techniques and insights into the healthy benefits of the selected foods and their preparation, we are able to make our lives more enjoyable, healthier and tastier!
We offer cooking classes for kids (three age-levels of Kids in the Kitchen classes) and classes for adults (called Slice of the Month), which provide opportunities for anyone to learn simple cooking techniques that will make participants more self sufficient while allowing them to SHARE their newfound skills with friends and families! Plus we get a chance to SHARE our preparations at the end of each session.
