SHARing what we know is an essential part of our philosophy. We offer programs and hands on participatory events. The focus of our attention is in our Kitchen, for it is here where we all learn to prepare the foods that we have available to the community. By SHARing techniques and insights into the healthy benefits of the selected foods and their preparation, we are able to make our lives more enjoyable, healthier and tastier!
We offer cooking classes for kids (three age-levels of Kids in the Kitchen) which provide opportunities to learn simple cooking techniques that will make participants more self sufficient while allowing them to SHARE newfound skills with friends and families! Plus we get to SHARE our preparations at the end of each session.
For ADULTS we offer a once a month cooking and preparation class, with good nutrition on the side. Slice of the Month is held at the Farmstand and gives adults news ways of preparing the foods that we will be distributing for this month.
