Other than organizational and community food drives, Project SHARE accepts food donations from individuals and families who wish to get involved in Project SHARE’s efforts to eliminate hunger.
Question: Is it more helpful to donate money or food?
Answer: While Project SHARE has traditionally accepted both food and monetary donations, monetary donations enable us to purchase food at wholesale prices. For every $1 donated Project SHARE is able to leverage $10 worth of food to those in need.
