Summer Feeding 4 Kids: When school is out and children no longer get free or reduced-price meals at school, Project SHARE is here to serve the kids in our community. For children in PreK-18 years, we provide healthy and easy-to-prepare breakfasts and lunches throughout the greater Carlisle area. The program runs from June 6/7- to August 5/16 and is a Drive-Thru Distribution model.

Project SHARE continues our tradition of providing pre-packaged drive-thru pick-ups for 2 meals a day for each week of 10 weeks to include a Power Nutrition Pack for weekends for all youth in the region who can benefit from this support.

Distribution for the entire 7 days of breakfasts and lunches can be picked up, with registration required on-line prior to the drive-thru:

Thursdays (June 6 – August 9 ) from 4 to 6 pm
* Farmstand at 123 Lincoln Street

Fridays (June 7-August 10) from 9 to 11 am
* Project SHARE headquarters at 5 North Orange Street
* Amelia Givin Library (rear parking area) in Mt. Holly and,
* Plainfield First Church of God

Also new books will be distributed, on special book days thanks to our donors including The Capital Region Literacy Council with Mr. Joe Bedard-CEO, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, the Carlisle Neighbors and Newcomer’s Club plus other generous financial donors. Reading Challenges will be given to the children to complete also making them eligible for other prizes. All in all this summer will be nutritious and delicious with a dose of good books and fun through Reading Challenges with prizes!
