As a community, we strive to provide a solution to this opportunity to provide nutrition through our Lunch & Learn Program! Local congregations, organizations, school districts, and numerous dedicated volunteers are working towards feeding our hungry children’s bodies as well as their minds with reading and learning enrichment activities, active hands on experiences, and other participatory programming that will make their days a joy.

Under the guidance of dedicated co-supervisors, teachers, assistants, and classroom helpers our community children will also enjoy crafts, books and relationship building activities.

Summer 2020’s Lunch & Learn will run from June 15th to August 5th on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 12 pm.

A healthy snack time and a full lunch will be prepared

and delivered from Project SHARE’s kids-friendly

kitchen directed by our Nutrition Coordinator, Weston,

To many of us, summer vacation brings excitement, but some others are filled with apprehension and uncertainty come summer. Some parents do not know whether they will be able to provide their children with nutritious meals without the free school breakfast and lunch program.

If you and your child are ready for a Summer Quest then sign up today to insure your child a place in Lunch & Learn so they can enjoy  great summer activities, a fun learning environment, together with free healthy snacks and nutritious lunches.  Sign up and commit yourself to helping and encouraging your child to attend each session.  You, the parent, are the most important part of the partnership towards your child’s success in this extra boost to their intellect, social interactions, team building and nutritional health.  While school is out your child has the chance to continue to rise up to success thanks to you!

Our Lunch & Learn program was recognized as the Gold Standard by the USDA and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
